Ripped Gold

     What is Ripped Gold? Actually, the videos are only a third the story. However, since videos are a third of the story, let’s go into it. If you recognize any of the featured bands, then you know by now that these videos are not authentic. No, they aren’t. Each video has been edited from a pre-composed song and a pre-made video[s]. Using a mixture of three video editors (Movie Maker, Videopad, Avidemux) Ripped Gold has created each video in a renewing and completely original fashion. What is the purpose? Well, that takes us into the second third of the story.

     Every Ripped Gold video is inspired off of a growing series of never-published books. In this series, a fictional rock band called “Eclipse” was featured, and each of the “music videos” made by Ripped Gold are created in connection with this fictional band. The “expression videos” are short films representing various episodes of this series. A passion for video editing has led Ripped Gold to begin featuring this series.
